A drought year such as this one produces smaller berries with intensified flavour and colour. Due to these exceptional conditions the McLaughlin family has released a drought reserve Shiraz. The wine has powerful chocolate characters on the palate with bold blackberry and blackcurrant characters lingering right through to a well rounded finish. To be enjoyed sitting around a log fire with any roasted meats or game. Vigneron Shane McLaughlin has only made 750 cases of this limited edition.
